The Song Heard ‘Round The World – A Cantata For Christmas  – Kaleidoscope Theatre

The Benthany Lutheran Brethren Church of Morrin presents “The Song Heard ‘Round The World – A Cantata For Christmas”. A great opportunity to celebrate the season by enjoying music by the Drumheller/Morrin Cantata Choir – directed by Becky Neuman. Starts on Friday, December 14th at Bethany Lutheran Church in Morrin. There are also performances in the Kaleidoscope Theatre on Saturday, December 15th and Sunday, December 16th. All performances begin at 7:30pm and entry is free will offering.

Nacmine Community Association Breakfast

9am fill up on breakfast, runs until 1pm. Adults are $10 kids 6-12 are $3 and kids under 6 eat for free!

 

Tuesday, December 18th

Wrapping Party – Drumheller Public Library

Wrap up your presents at the library with cider, big tables, and lots of wrapping supplies provided! Ages 15+ Kids can come along and enjoy popcorn and a movie in the next room! 6-8pm

 

Monday, December 24th

Skate with Santa – Drumheller Memorial Arena

There will be public skating on Christmas Eve from noon until 4pm at the Drumheller Memorial Arena. Santa will pay a visit to the arena from 3-4pm.

 

Monday, December 31st

New Years Eve – Delia & District Community Centre

The Countdown to 2019! Midnight lunch, cash bar 18+, catered dinner by Karin Miller. Live music by Garrett Gregory. Tickets $55, for more info text or call Robyn 403-835-0257

 

Friday, January 11th

Curling Fun Night – Drumheller Curling Club

The Drumheller Curling Club welcomes anyone interested in curling out for a fun night on the ice! Whether you’re 5 or 95, skilled or beginner, come throw some rocks down the ice. For anyone without equipment, there are brooms and sliders available to borrow at the club. Clean running shoes are required to go on the ice. Stretchy pants and a warm sweater/jacket and mitts are recommended. We try and get on the ice around 7:00pm and curl until we get tired. Participants are welcome upstairs afterwards for a refreshment and visit.
Scheduled dates are November 16, December 14, January 11, February 15, and March 15 (subject to change). Fees are $5/person at the door. For more info email drumhellercurlingclub@gmail.com
